This is the most expensive model from Perodua. Nautica is a rebadged CBU from Japan based on the Toyota Rush. Compared to Toyota Rush which is a 2WD and 7-seater long wheelbase, this “Naugty Car” is a 4WD and 5-seater SUV to replace the Kembara model. Price at MYR89,900 (~USD28,072) in Peninsula, many will rate this car too pricey for local consumers. Perodua’s biggest shareholder Daihatsu which is also part of Toyota corporation in Japan is well known to the Malaysians as an affordable compact cars manufacturer. Perodua claimed that the plastic quality of this model is better than Rush, targeted to sell 150-200 units a month and is considered as the cheapest SUV among its competitors.

they are just like the “syiok sendiri” politician….
malaysian already over-priced with many cars…
they think the people can take it…
protection should be removed from both these local car manufacturers, else they never grow up
Maybe some experts in marketing can explain why? But maybe this is the Japanese’s idea.
Well, I haven’t seen any on the road so far.
