Many DiGi broadband users may not aware that the APN setting for DiGi 3G is 3gdgnet. Most people connect their phone using diginet as the APN. The diginet APN is applied to GPRS phone or EDGE data SIM card. So, if you have problem connect to DiGi 3G, try use the first APN instead of the latter. Even DiGi FAQ doesn’t mentioned about this. The only page I found which has this information is http://ivenuetech.blogspot.com/2009/06/3g-broadband-apn.html

I agree. I had to call Digi support because I got a 619 error. But everytime I start my modem, the APN setting is reset back to the original setting. I’ve tried saving under Profile Management but it will reset back to the old one. Any ideas? I’m using Huawei E1550. I wonder if I have to add a new profile? Thanks!
Just add a new profile. No harm to do it.
Funny thing is, when I asked the customer service lady ‘should I add a new profile?’ she said, ‘no no no!’. I thought something bad would happen
. Thanks for replying Aeric.
Hi Rina, I used to have an EDGE data plan which use diginet as APN. Then I sign up new 3G broadband plan. I created a new profile with 3gdgnet as APN in the same PC so I can choose either one profile. But be careful every time you start the dialer program (in my case it is call Mobile Partner), select the right profile otherwise you have problem connecting to the gateway. So it is not recommended to have more than one profile as you may accidentally selected the wrong profile.
Hi Aeric, it’s ok, I have set it to be my default profile. So, everytime I start my modem, it will automatically display my Digi profile. But I know what you mean because I have 3 other profiles already set up when I bought my modem. Thanks Aeric!
Hi Aeric! Nice to have your blog around. My girlfriend got a problem with ZTE MF100 and MF627 modems with DiGi Broadband. In fact, she couldn’t get connected to the internet due to some connection problems.
I’ve found the solutions for the ZTE installation but have no idea about the DiGi’s APN set ups. If you may, could you please provide the “screenshots (the print screen images)” for the settings of APN, etc. for ZTE modem MF100 and/or MF627?
My girlfriend and I have “communication difficulties” as both of us are living in different locations. So, we get used to SMSes and phone calls to communicate.
Thanks!
I don’t have the software for ZTE modem but I think the interface would be similar with Mobile Partner that I am using.
I just unlocked my 3UK Mifi but I failed to connect to the digi internet. It kept reconnecting the signal. I thought the APN was diginet. Thanks for your info . Now I can use Digi in my mifi!
