yes (a new service provider in Malaysia for mobile voice and data) said to be launched yesterday… and people around Malaysia is trying to surf the official website to look for more details of it’s products and packages offered… I am one of them too… So i fired up my Chrome and open the url of yes.my but i can’t open the website? my browser redirects to http://www.yes.my/portal/public/ytlc
and loading takes like infinite… it seems the website is down like being overloaded by high traffic or DDos attack…

It’s facebook is floaded by bad comments and feedbacks. This is not good for a company image during its launch. After some while, the website is accessible (I guest people are getting tired of trying, thus traffic is no longer congested). Check the details, you can find out the contents are not informative enough with some grammar errors. The package offered is not attractive as it is expected to be. I could not find information such as 4G coverage, FAQ links is not working or what model of phone which support this 4G service. Why not they offer phone plan?

I has registered for an ID few days ago, trying to get a nice 018 number. Most of the “VIP” or easy to remember numbers are no longer available but I managed to get one number (not so easy to remember). I was thinking that this service should be popular and attracted the public a lot. So I received a confirmation email that day in my inbox. When I checked my inbox this morning, I found that I received 5 duplicate emails from yes auto-mailer. Once again this proved that their server is having problem.

My conclusion is they are yet to be ready to provide the citizen a good service. I can’t comment much on it’s true service as my first impression already spoil. However, I feel the package is far from what really attract me to switch from my current service provider. Come on, please make me really want to say “yes”!

Is this what you call World Class Network? Better be careful of what your competitors can do…
