Not much I want to comment about this newly launched car. Hmm… is this an SUV? Well, 4 years ago when Perodua was launching Myvi, our country or maybe the world were focusing on compact cars. Suzuki Swift, Mitsubishi Colt, Volkswagen Colt, Kia Picanto, QQ and i10. I wonder nowadays is it people complaining with those small-sized car and prefer larger room? Or people have more money to spend on bigger car in this so-called economic crisis? What I can see recently, car manufacturers coming out with Nissan Grand Livina, Toyota Wish, Avanza, Proton with it’s recently launched Exora, Perodua is also coming out with it’s first MPV too and Toyota coming out with this Hybrid technology car. Not forget in my previous post I mentioned about the rumour of Honda Freed end of this year. Alright, from what I read from Paul Tan’s blog, many have said that the car is too expensive. Perodua Nautica is one of the expensive car and the reason behind I am not sure. Perhaps it is the manufacturer’s marketing strategy to boost it’s other model. For me, RM175k should be reasonable. The design is not bad but Malaysian’s version normally much lack of luxurious and lower in spec. I think this is normal. It depends on what the car buyer’s purpose on that car. For some people, technology is nothing to big deal about. Like a handphone, you just need it’s basic function to make/receive calls and sms. So for a car, it is just for transportation. So, for me it is all depends on how you think whether it is worth to buy this car. Maybe more models of hybrid car are coming to Malaysia soon. So for those who can wait, just wait lah.

I am not sure how true is this. I just received an email with the subject “Fw: HONDA FREED – SUV (END 2009) RM80K – RM90K”. If it is true, I think it will affect the sales of Perodua coming MPV.

Recently I found there is a new Mazda showroom opened in Taman Midah Cheras. Next to it is a new Ford showroom. I guess both showroom may be owned by same owner. When I was driving in Leisure Mall Cheras and Kuala Lumpur town area recently, I found a very nice model of Mazda 4WD that I have never seen before. I was really impressed with the new look which I have the feeling of Mazda 6 or RX8 front design integrated into this big car. Then later i found this model is name CX9.

Mazda RX8 is always my dream car. I also like the new Mazda 6, but I am more like the design of former facelift. However, I do not really like the Mazda 3 hatchback. Sometimes I can’t differentiate Mazda 3 sedan because it is more look like Mazda 6. Last few days, when I was reading newspaper in my office pantry, I was amazed. The new Mazda 3 sport is launched in Malaysia and it looks damn nice! If I get rich tomorrow, this car sure be the car I want to change. The new Mazda 3 is a completely new look and it’s front is like “smiling” to you like Mazda RX8. 🙂
