In ASP.NET webform, I have 2 controls i.e a radiobuttongroup with 4 items and a checkbox after the control in a table cell. By default, the checkbox is rendered as an item wrap at the bottom of the radiobuttongroup. What I want is the checkbox appear beside after the radio buttons. I try some css style div such as display:inline or nowrap but it didn’t work. I view the client side html source and found that the radio button group is rendered as html table. I look for the control properties for the radiobuttongroup and found there is an option for RepeatLayout. I change the value from Table to Flow. Voila! It is now display as same row.

After changed, the HTML is rendered as span with style display: inline.

There is a bug if you enable Comment or Blog Subscription feature in Jetpack plugin.

The checkbox and the label display incorrectly with some themes.

I have tried changing the source and finally get it fixed.

Jetpack-Subscription-Style-Bug

Here is how I solved the problem:

  • In Admin menu, click on Plugins -> Editor.
  • At the top right corner, in the select “Jetpack by WordPress.com” and click button Select.
  • From the Plugin Files list, click the jetpack/modules/subscriptions.php file to edit.
  • Press Ctrl+F to look for line “// Subscribe to comments checkbox“.
  • In the label style, add in style=”display: inline; float: none;”
  • i.e. look similar to this :
  • $str .= ‘<label id=”subscribe-label” for=”subscribe_comments” style=”display: inline; float: none;”>’ . __( ‘Notify me of follow-up comments by email.’, ‘jetpack’ ) . ‘</label>’;
  • Add in a space (or any character) between the single quote and Notify.
  • i.e. look similar to this :
  • __( ‘ Notify me of follow-up comments by email.’, ‘jetpack’ )
  • Repeat the steps for “subscribe_blog
  • Click button Update File.
  • Refresh your page and see the checkboxes are now aligned correctly left of the corresponding labels.

The block of code would look similar to this:Jetpack-Subscription-Style-Editor

Tadaa…
