Recently, I upgraded my Windows Mobile 6.1 to Windows Mobile 6.5 using a customized ROM. I tried to install a Weather plugin, from somewhere too, but failed. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, it updated but show registry problem so I just delete the files from my device and memory card. After a while, I found the screen is not “poke-able” (unable to use finger or stylus to click, or screen is not responding to touch or whatsoever…). OMG, I think I need send my device to Asus service centre. I thought to reformat (reflash the ROM) but I afraid the setup fail during the stage of tapping the screen for alignment. However, I did reformat and thanks God, i can tap the screen for alignment. So my device no need to go for service. I think the windows registry or driver was corrupted so the screen was not functioning. So those who face similar problem, don’t afraid to take the risk to reflash your ROM.
Update:
I think the touchscreen problem is not coming from the Weather plugin but from S2P, an iTunes like music player. After I reformated the ROM, I can installed the weather plugin. I think I must install this plugin before installing CStar CE or else it will corrupt the registry.
After the upgrade, the phone cannot view missed calls and the Bluetooth doesn’t work!

Are you ready to install Windows XP Service Pack 3? Go to Microsoft Windows XP SP3 page now.
Service Pack 3
Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) build 5512 was released to manufacturing on April 21, 2008 and to the public via both the Microsoft Download Center and Windows Update on May 6, 2008.[29][30][31] It will be automatically pushed out to users in the “early [northern-hemisphere] summer” (i.e. around June-July 2008).[29] However, due to a compatibility issue with Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System, Microsoft recommends that SP3 not be applied to systems using Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System until a hotfix is available.[29][30][32] A feature set overview which details new features available separately as standalone updates to Windows XP, as well as features backported from Windows Vista, such as black hole router detection, Network Access Protection, and Windows Imaging Component has been posted by Microsoft.[33] Microsoft is reporting that 1,174 fixes have been packed into SP3.[34] Internet Explorer 7 is not included as part of SP3.[35]

It seems Windows XP is running smooth with SP2. Would that be any issue after I installed SP3? This might be a million ringgit question LOL. So, as an IT savvy, I will let those white mice test it first and after a month or two, search some forums for people feedback.
